Netnography

Netnography, in simple words, is ‘Ethnography done over internet’. With an ever increasing number of online users all over the world, internet presents a wealth of unlimited information on consumer-to-consumer communications, over newsgroups, blogs, social networking sites, and photo-sharing communities etc.

Netnography is becoming increasingly important as a tool to collect detailed and descriptive information, which tends to be in the form of a social interaction and hence natural and highly reliable. At MarkPlus, we have skilled netnographers, who work on preparing research questions and identify most effective online platforms to collect information. Netnography is typically helpful in creating insights on advertising effectiveness, brand positioning and perception, competitive analysis, trend identification and webpage and interface designs, etc.
