VenuSight (Etnographic Research)

This type of research is typically conducted through a participatory research, dubbed VenuSight, which helps us observe respondents’ in their local daily life (natural setting). This brings out insightful information about their beliefs, values, and desires. This type of research is usually conducted by a single investigator who ‘lives with and lives like’ those studied. Its success relies heavily on researcher’s up-close and personal connection and possible participation, not just observation. The research is generally done through methods such as interviews, observation, and personal documentation, such as diary.
